When to Go
The summer months, June-August, are usually considered the best time to travel to Edmonton. The weather is warm, with several outdoor activities available. If you prefer winter sports however, December-February would be most ideal. Festivities occur throughout the year, from seasonal events to cultural, and artistic celebrations. The Silver Skate Festival, Winefest, Winterval, International Children’s Festival, Disco in the Park, Pride Festival, Edmonton International Jazz Festival, Edmonton Mural Festival, Fringe Festival, and Taste of Edmonton - Canada’s largest food festival, are just a few of Edmonton’s most celebrated.
