Overview

What to See
West Bay Beach – Home to the island’s major resorts, West Bay is widely considered Roatan’s best beach and a mecca for diving and snorkeling, due to its calm, crystal-clear water.
Gumbalimba Park – Aka “The Untamed Roatan,” Gumbalimba Park is home to free-roaming macaws, white-face monkeys, and native iguanas. Here you will also find a museum, pool, botanical gardens, animal interaction center, and a waterfront.
Oak Ridge – Often referred to as “The Venice of Roatan” because of its canals, secluded Oak Ridge is a charming seaside village famed for its vivid boat houses. Oak Ridge is the ideal daytrip from anywhere on the island.
