Antwerp Vacations
Historic Antwerp, located in the Flanders Region of Belgium, dates to the 4th-century AD. Allegedly, the first diamond was cut in Antwerp in 1476. Today, it is the undisputed diamond capital of the world, as more than 80% of the planet's rough diamonds pass through this port city. In addition to diamonds, Antwerp is known for its world-class museums, including the Rubens House, the former home of artist Peter Paul Rubens.

What to See
Grote Markt – Grote Markt is the busiest and primary town square in Antwerp. Full of historic architecture, the square is lined with 16th-century guild houses, City Hall (built between 1561-1565) and the Brabo Fountain (built in 1887).
Het Steen Castle – One of Antwerp’s oldest structures, built between 1200 and 1225, this castle was once part of a protective fortress and walled-in city. Take a moment to walk around the cobblestone pathways or along the banks of the Scheldt River. The Antwerp Ferris Wheel, “The View,” can also be accessed nearby.
