Overview

Croatia’s third-largest city was named European Capital of Culture for 2020. Rijeka is also renowned for its Carnival, regarded as one of the top events in Europe and Croatia’s largest party. Here you will also find one of Croatia’s most important pilgrimage sites, the Church of Our Lady of Trsat, which can be reached by the renowned Petar Druzic Stairway.
