When to Go
York regularly has a temperate climate, where the summers stay mild, but the winters get chilly, with rainfall occurring throughout the year. May – September brings the most favorable weather, with highs reaching 61°F. July and August is peak tourist season for York however, and the crowds can be cumbersome.
