Built in 1939 with stones hewn from the Massanutten Mountains and native wormy chestnut, historic Big Meadows Lodge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Beautifully located in breathtaking Shenandoah National Park, the lodge features accommodations that range from main lodge rooms and detached small cabins to preferred and traditional rooms and pet-friendly rooms. Big Meadows Lodge also boasts the Spottswood Dining Room, New Market Taproom, and Craft Shop, which are located in the main lodge building, as well as an outdoor terrace with panoramic views.
